The Event
Welcome to the Canadian Dirt Mystery Music Fest, an exclusive live music experience created by Gord Bamford and hosted on his private property near Bashaw, Alberta.
This fully curated weekend brings together incredible live music, warm hospitality, camping, fantastic food vendors and an intimate atmosphere unlike anything you will experience at a traditional large-scale festival.
The exact location and artist lineup remain a mystery until you arrive, with each artist revealed only as they take the stage. Guests can expect an exciting mix of musical genres, exceptional talent and plenty of surprises throughout the weekend.
Attendance is limited to a maximum of 1,000 guests, creating an unforgettable and truly unique festival experience.
The Weekend
It Starts Thursday
It all begins with our Kick-Off Party on Thursday, August 26, 2027, followed by festival nights on Friday and Saturday. Campers pack up and head home by noon on Sunday.
What’s Included
Your weekend includes live performances, access to the Concert Bowl, camping at the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds, parking and shuttle transportation between the campground and Concert Bowl. Food vendors are on site throughout the festival.

Festival Pricing
Weekend General Admission
Includes the Kick-Off Party, Friday and Saturday festival admission, parking at the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds, shuttle service to and from the Concert Bowl, and weekend camping.
Day Passes
* Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Day passes include parking at the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds and shuttle service to and from the Concert Bowl.
Camping
Make a weekend of it and stay right at the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds.
Campsites are non-serviced, with no power or water. Limited shower and washroom facilities are available, along with shuttle service to and from the Concert Bowl.
Lawn Chairs & Chair Identification
Guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs to the festival.
As guests will be shuttled to and from the concert site with their chairs, we strongly recommend that all lawn chairs be clearly labelled with the guest’s name prior to arriving at the festival.
Having chairs labelled in advance will make it much easier for guests to identify and keep track of their chairs throughout the weekend.
Rain or Shine
The Canadian Dirt Mystery Music Fest will proceed rain or shine. A covered structure will be available in the event of inclement weather so guests can continue enjoying the festival comfortably.

Back to the Agricultural Grounds
Shuttle buses will begin transporting guests from the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds to the festival site at 6:30 p.m. each evening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Gates to the festival grounds will open at 7:00 p.m. each evening. At the end of each evening, shuttle buses will begin transporting guests back to the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds from 11:00 p.m. through 2:00 a.m. All campers must depart the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Sunday. Additional arrival, parking and shuttle details will be provided to ticket holders prior to the festival.

Yes. Guests should bring their own lawn chairs for the concert area. Chairs will be transported with guests on the shuttle, please clearly label your lawn chair with your name prior to arriving at the festival.
Yes. The Canadian Dirt Mystery Music Fest is a rain or shine event. Guests should come prepared for changing Alberta weather and dress accordingly. The concert bowl on the festival grounds will be covered.
There will be food vendors available on site throughout the festival for additional food purchases.
A list of recommended accommodations, along with local attractions and things to see and do in the area, will be added to the festival website at a later date to help guests plan their weekend.

Yes. Children 12 and under are free, with special youth pricing available for ages 13 to 17. All guests 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Absolutely. For guests who prefer not to camp, hotel accommodations are available in surrounding communities, including Ponoka, Stettler and Camrose.
Important: Guests staying at hotels or other off-site accommodations will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds, where they will park and catch the festival shuttle to and from the concert site. We recommend booking accommodations early, as availability may become limited closer to the festival.
All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
In the unlikely event that the festival cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, such as an act of God, severe weather, government restrictions or another major unforeseen event, the first option would be to postpone or reschedule the festival to a new date, where possible.
